It is one of the most recognisable names in Hollywood, synonymous with sci-fi hits and red carpet glamour.
But Millie Bobby Brown says that moniker is now a thing of the past.
Following her marriage to Jake Bongiovi in May 2024, the 21-year-old actress has officially adopted her husband's surname — and dropped the ones that made her famous.
The revelation came during a playful exchange with her Stranger Things co-star and close friend, Noah Schnapp, in an interview with VT.
'Drop the Brown'

When asked to state her full name, Schnapp struggled to keep up with the recent changes.
After guessing "Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi" and then "Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi Brown," the actress finally stepped in to correct him.
"Drop the Bobby, drop the Brown," she told him. "It's just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi."
Referencing the repetitive rhythm of her new legal title, the actress joked that she can now simply go by "Millie Bon Bon."
The truth about 'Bobby'

Confusing matters further for fans is the revelation that "Bobby" — the name the world has known her by for a decade — was never actually on her birth certificate.
In a candid admission to her Electric State co-star Chris Pratt earlier this year, she revealed her middle name has always been Bonnie.
She confessed to adopting "Bobby" professionally simply "for s--- and giggles."
A new chapter

The name change marks the latest milestone in a transformative year for the star.
After three years of dating, she married the son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, first in an intimate ceremony and later in a larger celebration in Italy.
Since then, the couple has quietly expanded their family, announcing in August via Instagram that they had welcomed a daughter via adoption.
While the couple has asked for "peace and privacy" regarding their child, Millie recently described parenthood as a "beautiful, amazing journey" to British Vogue.
"Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love," she said, praising Jake as "the most amazing dad."
"It's just endless joy."
